About Sweetbehind Remodeling and How We Help

See how it works

Who We Are

Sweetbehind Remodeling is a referral service for homeowners planning a bathroom or kitchen remodel. We do not do the work. We connect you with independent local providers in our network.

Why This Site Exists

Remodeling is a big spend. Quotes can look very different from one provider to the next, and it is hard to know why. This site explains the price drivers in plain words. It also lists smart questions to ask and warning signs to watch for. The goal is simple. You should understand your options before anyone starts work.

How Matching Works

You tell us a little about your project, such as a tub-to-shower conversion, a walk-in tub or a kitchen refresh. We then connect you with a provider in our network who serves your area. Availability varies, so Request a callback to check which providers are open to new projects near you.

We suggest talking to more than one provider. Compare written quotes. Line by line, they tell you far more than a number on a phone call.

What We Expect From Providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

  • Explain the scope and the price in clear terms
  • Put quotes in writing
  • Treat your home and your time with respect
  • Answer questions without pressure

You should still do your own checking. Ask about licensing and insurance where your state requires it, and ask for proof.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not demolish, build, plumb, tile or install anything.
  • We do not set the price. Each provider sets their own.
  • We do not sign contracts for you. Your agreement is with the provider you choose.
  • We do not push you to hire anyone.

How We Are Paid

Homeowners do not pay Sweetbehind Remodeling to be connected. Providers in our network may pay for the referrals they receive. That does not change your right to compare, ask questions and say no.

Know the Price Drivers

Most remodel costs come from a few things: the size of the room, how much plumbing or wiring moves, the materials you pick and what is behind the walls in an older house. Typical U.S. costs vary widely by job, so get a written quote before you decide.

Also ask each provider to list what is and is not included, such as permits, hauling away old materials and cleanup. A quote that looks small at first can leave out items that show up later as extra charges. A clear list helps you compare offers fairly.
